Under 16yrs Karting Options At Raceland
Raceland offers various karting options to young drivers, aged 8yrs to 15yrs, minimum height requirement is 4ft 2ins (127cm).

All equipment is supplied and included in the price; Karting Racesuit, Crash Helmet & Gloves - we recommend drivers wear casual clothing and lightweight boots or trainers

Raceland has 20yrs experience of training young drivers how to drive karts, always with a strong emphasis on safety and instruction

Karting - "Private" 1hr Indoor Session For Party Group (8yrs to 15yrs)
Session is inclusive of full 1hr of track time, + fitting of racewear + safety briefing & instruction - total time 1.5hrs
8yrs to 15yrs - minimum heaight requirement 4ft 2ins - ideal for birthday party groups etc
Maximum of 8 drivers per 1hr slot booked (more than 8 drivers must book a 2nd hour of track time)
Raceland do not mix under 16's and adults at any karting sessions
4 drivers on the circuit at a time - approximately 3*8 minute driving sessions each

Monday to Friday 12noon, 1.30, 3, 4.30, 6.30 & 8pm up to 8 drivers £165 (minimum event cost)
Sunday 2pm, 3.30pm, 5pm up to 8 drivers £200 (minimum event cost)

Karting - "Open" 1hr Karting Sessions For Individuals To Enter (8yrs to 15yrs)
Open sessions held on the fourth Sunday of every month - 12.30pm to 2.00pm
All information is as per the private session above, except this session is available for individuals to book into
3 * 8minute drives within a 1.5hr total session time
The Open 1hr Session is held on a specific Sunday each month - the 4th Sunday in every month

4th Sunday In Every Month 12.30pm to 2pm individual entry £20/person (8yrs to 15yrs)

Karting Lesson - Inclusive Of FREE Practice Session + Free Membership (8yrs to 15yrs)
Available to individuals aged 8yrs to 15yrs
Lessons Held On The Second Sunday Of Every Month - Places Must Be Booked
3hour indoor karting lesson + FREE practice session the following week + FREE membership to end of year
All equipment is supplied; karting racesuit, crash helmet & gloves + safety briefing + instruction & tuition
£60/driver - Includes 3hr lesson + free practice session + free membership to end of year

Club Membership - Cadets (8yrs to 11yrs) - Juniors (12yrs to 15yrs)
On completion of the indoor karting lesson and free practice session as a Club member drivers can now practice and race every month along with other club members. Club sessions are available to book into every Sunday morning.
Club members are divided into Cadets (usually aged 8yrs to 11yrs approx) or Juniors (12yrs to 15yrs)
Cadets practice & race on the indoor circuit - Juniors (after completing an outdoor Competency Test) practice and race on the outdoor circuit

Cadet & Junior Raceday event is held on 1st Sunday every month and is part of annual Club Championship 9am to 2pm £35.00/Raceday Event
Cadet Qualifying Session (required for entry into Cadet Raceday) 9am to 10.30am FREE with Raceday Entry
Cadet Practice is available on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th Sunday in month 10.30am to 12noon £17.50/Practice Sessions
Junior Competency Test (must be taken by new members before racing/practicing outdoors 10am to 11am £17.50/Competency Test

Please Note:- Raceland does NOT offer arrive-and-drive sessions for young drivers (under 16yrs), preferring instead to ensure that young drivers receive lengthier instruction and tuition when they first experience the activity. Raceland also chooses not to allow adults (over 16yrs) to drive alongside under 16's, again for safety.
