The Raceday is the monthly race event for Cadet & Junior
club members – each event forms one round of the annual Cadet & Junior
Indoor Championship.
The Raceday consists of a practice session and 4 heats for every driver.
Trophies are awarded to the top three drivers in each group. Drivers
are classed by their fastest lap times achieved at the Pre-Raceday
qualifying session in order to segregate experienced and less experienced
drivers. The Pre-Raceday qualifying session is included in the cost
of the Raceday event.
Cadets: 9:30-12noon
Juniors: 1pm-3:30pm
Pre-Raceday Qualifying
The Pre-Raceday qualifying sessions determine, by fastest lap times,
which group drivers will race in on Raceday itself.
Pre-Qualifying sessions consist of 3 practice sessions followed by
5 laps in the special qualifying kart in which drivers try to set their
fastest lap. Sessions are pre-booked.
In 2005 we will offer 2 qualifying days so hopefully no driver will
miss out due to holidays or sickness (however drivers may only enter
1 qualifying day per month).
