Karting Facilities
Raceland karting facilities are absolutely unique in the UK - the Edinburgh centre offers an international sized (930m) fully floodlit outdoor circuit, and a tarmac indoor circuit, at the one location. Whether your preference is for; a private race event for your group, individual entry into one of our monthly open race events, or a straightforward practice session - any of these options  can be booked on either the outdoor or indoor karting circuits.

We provide drivers with all the equipment required, including; Karting Racesuit, Crash Helmet and Gloves – we recommend participants wear layered clothing to give them options on the day, and lightweight boots or trainers (no sandals or open-toes or high heels please). A thorough driver's safety briefing precedes all karting sessions, and track rules are strictly applied wherever safety or customer enjoyment are concerned. All Raceland equipment is regularly upgraded, including karts and all safety equipment. All equipment is fully inclusive in the event cost.
 

Outdoor Circuit

Raceland outdoor circuit is one of the most challenging leisure karting circuits in the UK - an exciting combination of tight hairpins, flowing bends and fast flat-out straights - it is a real drivers circuit. Evening events are no problem on the fully-floodlit circuit which is open all-year round. Up to 16 karts on the grid at private race events makes for exciting racing - and fun practice sessions are available with up to 4 karts on the track. Gift Vouchers are available online.

Race monitors, a computerised race management system, and race commentary by your race director ensures that everyone can follow all of the action at every stage of your event. The 70mph 270cc Sodi Karts, are easy to drive, and are suitable for experienced karters, novices and absolute beginners.

Indoor Circuit

27,000sqft Indoor Circuit - Tarmac Surface - Up & Under Bridge - 40mph Sodi Karts (brand new Nov 2010)
The indoor circuit is around 300metres in length (varies with track design) and, unusually for an indoor karting venue, it offers a tarmac surface to emulate the real karting experience, offering exceptional grip and excitement. Up to 8 karts on the grid at private race events - maximum 4 karts on track at practice sessions.

Race monitors, a computerised race-management system, and race commentary by your race director ensures that everyone can follow all of the action at every stage of your event. Custom-built venue, no obstructive pillars, spectators never miss any of the action, thrilling up-and-under bridge adds to the excitement. The 40mph 200cc Sodi Karts are easy to drive and suitable for experienced karters, novices and absolute beginners. Gift Vouchers are available online.
