Raceland was established in April 1990 by Tom & Janice Cameron, and is a family-run business located in superb East Lothian countryside, just 10 minutes south of Edinburgh on the A1, and very easily accessed from the North, South & West.

2006 saw the introduction of two brand new race fleets on the indoor & outdoor circuits, emphasising the policy at Raceland of continued improvement and investment in the best quality equipment for our customers. Outdoor groups can now book the very latest Sodi Karts – 270cc & 70mph – at private race events, whilst indoor groups at private race events can also enjoy the thrill of racing the excellent Sodi Karts – 200cc & 40mph. Practice karts are also available on both circuits for adults.

Jan’s Diner, the new American-diner styled catering facility at Raceland, overlooks the indoor circuit, serving hot & cold food and beverages throughout events to indoor & outdoor participants, spectators and visitors.

Raceland Cadet & Junior club membership is available to young drivers, aged between 8years & 15years, after participation in karting lessons. Membership permits drivers to race or practice each week, driving 40mph indoor karts. For non-members in the 8 to 15 age group Raceland offers party sessions that can be booked by the hour.
